Role Overview & Responsibilities

CALLING ALL 1 YEAR POST QUALIFIED PWPS LOOKING FOR MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE!! Are you passionate about promoting meaningful and effective therapeutic experiences for clients at Step and dedicated to this process both personally and professionally? Then we want to hear from you.

Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service is a growing IAPT service. We have the honour and privilege to deliver idiosyncratic packages of care for our patients in Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service, based on evidence-based therapies proven to be effective at Step 2.

Senior PWPs within the Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service support qualified and trainee PWPs by offering Case Management, Clinical Skills Supervision and Line Management. This role provides excellent experience for development within PWP roles.

Internal and external training for working within specialist areas at Step 2 is provided. All SPWPs are supported within CPD to gain clinical experience in their area of interest and as a service we love to get involved in all PWP matters both locally and nationally.

We encourage our SPWPs to work on a development project within the Step 2 Team such as supporting with our Champion Projects, overseeing the LTC pathway at step 2 and developing our groups programme. This adds variation and interest in the SPWP role.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care. We Respect. We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
