Gateway Worker (RMN/other professionals)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Newham Talking Therapies (NTT), Centre for Clinical Excellence, is looking to recruit a Registered Practitioner from a Mental Health background (RMN, RNLD, Social Worker, Counselling or Clinical Psychologist, PWP, or OT with secondary care mental health experience) who has worked for at least 1 year post qualification, to join our high-performing and creative team!

The post holder will work within the Single Point of Referral (SPoR) Team, playing a key role in screening new referrals coming into NTT. Using computerised CBT, Gateway Workers are also able to hold a small caseload of clients, as well as helping deliver community stress workshops across the borough, to increase access to our service. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, due to the diverse population we serve here in Newham.
