Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Role

As a Durham Bed and Furniture Group Warehouse Operative you will be moving stock and loading vans with our beds/Suites and furniture in one of our Durham distribution centres as well as any other general warehouse and storage duties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manually stacking customer orders onto dispatch wagons
• Unloading stock from supplier waggons and storing around the warehouse
• The organisation of stock within the waregouse
• Picking customer orders and preparing for dispatch
• Cleaning warehouse floor and always ensuring the work area remains clean and safe

The Skill requirements

• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling
• Must be availble to work additional hours and Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
