Charities and community groups play a huge role, especially at a time of financial crisis, in supporting our communities. CAN works tirelessly to support them to thrive and survive through delivery of training, webinars and one to one advice. Our current VCS Development Lead is sadly moving on, providing a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to work with voluntary and community groups in the Dorset Council area.

You’ll be joining a successful and friendly team providing professional and practical expertise – helping groups right from the start, empowering them to become strong and independent, with funding advice, good governance and management.

We are a disability confident organisation and recognise the importance of diversity within our organisation. We welcome all applicants who believe they will be a good fit for this role.

We offer a competitive salary and great benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays, death in service insurance, Care First confidential wellbeing support, season train ticket loan or parking permit and much more.
