Health Care Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who are local, ideally living within a 15 mile radius from Coventry who can attend regular shifts for a client based locally.

The ideal candidates will be able to help customers to lead as active and independent lives as possible by providing holistic and personal care and support (including laundry, housekeeping and kitchen duties) as identified in the care plan, whilst promoting choice and enabling customers to maintain independence and dignity

Requirements

• Delivering the care plan
• Prioritising tasks as appropriate
• Accurate and legible documentation
• Identifying and ensuring health and safety standards are met
• Identify and report signs of poor practice or abuse
• Escalate concerns / issues as appropriate
• Comply with CQC essential standards and Anchor procedures at all times

Trainings required

• Basic Life Support/First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Food Hygiene
• Infection Control
• Moving & Handling (practical and theory)
• Health and Safety Qualification
• Advanced Safeguarding (Adults and/or Children as required)

We can provide some trainings but care experience is ideal
