Film & TV Security Officer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

AT DGCS Film & TV our Security teams help keep Film & TV productions running smoothly. We are seeking to recruit crew to work as part of a team of Security Officers at a London based studio and on various filming locations across the UK.

Initial Contract Period: 6 months, with potential to extend based on performance.

Job Description

• Successful candidates will need to be available to start immediately
• Must be available to work 12-to-14-hour day shifts or less
• Holding an existing DS SIA Licence
• Must have a valid UK driving licence and the use of your own car, as certain locations can be quite difficult to get to by public transport
• Must be willing to travel and stay away on location for up to five days if required

Main Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Croud control
• Access control at points of entry
• Manned guarding
• To always endeavour to provide a high standard of customer service that is professional, courteous and helpful
• Provide assistance and ensure that studio and location policies and procedures are adhered to
• Secure the production area and set and keep the staff & actors safe and from distractions

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

• Computer Literate
• Experience of time management
• To deliver a consistent level of service, within the Production's standards
• Have a sound knowledge of the Film & TV Industry
• Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures quickly
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good knowledge of basic Maths and English skills

Job type

Full-Time (Self Employed) – At least six month’s experience is preferred

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday to Friday
• Occasional Weekends (not mandatory)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
