Ceramics Dispatch Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

deVOL Kitchens is one of the leading and most highly regarded kitchen companies in the UK, with manufacturing and design offices based in Leicestershire, London, and New York.

We are looking for a full-time packing and dispatch assistant in our Loughborough workshop to support our growing Ceramics department.

The position will involve:

- Picking and packing ceramic lightshades, tiles and tableware, assembling packaging boxes

- Product assembly and final quality control checks

- Assisting with order allocation and stock management

- Assisting our administrator with booking in domestic and international deliveries

- Keeping work areas organised and tidy

The ideal person will be:

- Reliable, punctual, and organised

- Happy to work both independently and within a busy team

- Willing to learn and able to accept direction

- Have great care with delicate products and pay attention to detail

- Hard working and trustworthy

- Focussed and efficient

- Good IT skills; Excel, Google Sheets

The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience working in a business packing orders and assisting with general operations management, however this is not essential and full training will be provided.

This role will require you to be on your feet all day and involves moderate lifting.

The role is located in a busy workshop and you will be expected to follow health and safety procedures.

Full Time Position: Monday-Friday 8.30am – 5pm, 40 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
