Role Overview & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity for a creative, hardworking, reliable, dynamic pastry chef / baker to become part of the creative force for an established artisan doughnut and speciality coffee shop in Tynemouth, within minutes of the coast. We are a scratch bakery - producing all dough, fillings, jams, glazes and custards in house. The right candidate will benefit from the responsibility of creating new and exciting high end patisserie style offerings, with the chance to really express themselves creatively.

We have ambitious plans and are looking for a team who wants to come on this journey with us and be part of our exciting future.

Team Member requirements

• Some pastry/bakery experience essential
• Enthusiastic, creative, and dynamic
• Reliable
• Ability to collaboratively work within the team
• Willing to work early mornings - with early finishes!
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work precisely and quickly
• Full time - available for 5 shifts per week, including at weekends (40 hours total)
• Part time - available for 2-4 shifts per week, including a weekday and weekend day
