Health Care Assistant (Agency)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Minimum of 6months experience

Summary: To provide the support, care and domestic care needed to help service users to achieve maximum independence in aspects of their daily lives and activities as per their individual needs and care plans all the while promoting their self-respect and dignity and providing the highest standard of care provision every day of the year, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Roles: Assisting with personal care: bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise. Basic food preparation: preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands. General health care: overseeing medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders and administering medicine.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 60 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
