Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Duties will include

• Dispatching of products either by courier or pallets distributed in the UK & abroad
• Picking & packing goods from dispatch notes
• Weigh out products using weighing/counting scales to ensure accurate quantities are despatched
• Locating of products that cannot be located on a dispatch note
• Ensuring product rotation is adhered to
• Undertake Folk Lift courses
• Advising supervisor of any shortages concerning consumable products
• Ensuring timescales are reached with priority dispatches
• Print of dispatch notes and ensure orders are dispatched in the correct order
• Bringing delivered goods in to the warehouse safely and efficiently
• Unpacking received goods, checking and locating to stock
• Working in a safe & responsible manner when handling weights of boxes
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Any ad-hoc duties given by the Warehouse Supervisor

Skills / Abilities /Experience

• Previous warehouse experience
• Logically minded and able to pick up part number detail easily
• Attention to detail

Attitudes and Values

• Hardworking, keen to learn and take on additional duties
