Welder/Fabricator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a long established engineering company actively looking to recruit welder/fabricators who have experience in MIG welding processes of mild steel. Some previous experience is required plus the ability to work from production drawings.

The role will mainly involve fabricating conveyors, platforms, staircases, bottle piercers, can flatteners, bag splitters. There may be the opportunity to work on site from time to time.

The MIG Welder/Fabricator should be able to:

• MIG weld to a high standard
• Preferably able to read and follow engineering drawings
• MIG weld on mild steel
• Maintain safe working practices

Personal attributes:

• Knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
• Be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to work alone
• Must be motivated and a good time keeper
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Competitive salary for the right person, overtime available, 28 days holiday per year

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£38,500.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
