Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: EXCAVATOR DRIVER

Location: LISBURN

Reporting to: Site Manager/Contracts Manager

General duties can include digging out trenches, slinging pipes, drainage, back filling and reinstatement work. The ability to work off your own initiative when the digger is not in use is also important.

ESSENTIAL

• Accredited Plant Card
• Ability to operate excavator safely
• Knowledge of general construction operations
• Knowledge of workplace safety and welfare
• Valid working references dated within the last year
• Experienced in site clearance, subfloors, utilities and foundations is essential

DESIRABLE

• Clean drivers’ licence
• Ability to operate plant equipment additional to main licence held

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lisburn, County Antrim: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)
