Support Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Crossroads Caring Scotland provides care and support to enable people to remain in their own home. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978, we have services across Scotland and pride ourselves in the support we provide each other as a team and our not-for-profit ethos.

We are looking to recruit Support Workers at our Aberdeenshire Service which covers Kincardine and Deeside including Stonehaven and surrounding areas. If you are caring and compassionate and enjoy working directly with people, then this could be a great opportunity to join our highly respected team.

Current vacancies available:

1x 35 hour contract per week

2 x 30 hour contract per week

1 x 25 hour contract per week

Qualifications and Skills

Experience is preferred but not essential, as basic and enhanced training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards vocational qualifications.

The ability to work flexibly is essential.

A driving licence and use of a car is desirable, dependent on location. The ability to work flexibly is essential.

Successful candidates will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults/Children.
