Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Derby, UK

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE plus shift allowance

Shifts: Continental shifts (4 days on 4 days off, 12 hour shifts, Days and Nights)

My client are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to ensure production lines are operational with as little downtime as possible. This includes reactive maintenance, PPM and planned upgrades.

These production lines are operational 24/7 and run to GMP standards. My client are looking for experience within a high volume production environment, good understanding of pneumatics and any experience on the production lines is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the production facility running at maximum efficiency
• Plan and Lead production line maintenance and maintenance checks
• Coordinate breakdown activities and reactive maintenance
• Ensure completion of PPM to a high standard

Requirements

• Qualifications: NVQ, Degree or time served apprenticeship
• Experience with maintaining complex mechanical equipment to high standards
• Working with Pneumatics
• Able to read engineering drawings and solve complex engineering problems
