Estimator, Commercial, Oxford

The chosen candidate will be responible for assisting the Estimating / Commercial department in managing the pre-construction cost plans and functions from site conception to start on site. To ensure that the clients tenders are costed and delivered within required time frames, whilst also reviewing site specific documentation and undertaking a site take off on our inhouse measuring software.

Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Costing projects – on varying sites, greenfield, brownfield, flats and traditional houses.
• Undertaking site take off – using measuring software.
• Updating controlled sites / cost plans through our quarterly review process
• Value engineering projects and driving best value for delivery.
• Assist in loading procured sites on internal software for surveying department to begin their process.
• Assist surveyors with initial budgeting and assist where needed on initial enabling works / start on site-based tendering.
