Are you an experienced Data Scientist? Do you have a passion for sports? Are you looking to join a growing business based in London?

Consortia are working closely with our key partners to offer you a Data Scientist opportunity at one of our cutting-edge Sports Analytics partners based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be a Data Scientist working within a team of analysts using one of the largest sports databases in the world.
• You will interpret various data sources, including granular tracking data, to generate new insights into the performances of the sport.
• You will be working within a team to develop new metrics for use by clients such as broadcasters and journalists.

Role Requirements:

• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods, e.g., linear/logistic regression, decision trees, random forest, unsupervised methods, neural methods, etc.
• Experience with the PyData stack (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, matplotlib).
• Experience using databases and SQL.
• A passion for data & ability to convey complex information through Data Visualisation.
• Interest in and knowledge of sports in general.
