Dental Chairside Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a friendly Part time/Full time dental assistant for our growing fee for service general practice in Milpitas.

This is a one doctor practice that truly cares about its patients and staff.

Experience preferred but we'd consider training a motivated team player with a great attitude, must enjoy dentistry, love working with patients and a desire to learn.

Main duties: Chair side assisting in all general dentistry procedures. Clean and sterilize instruments, stock and maintain clinical work areas. Must be able to polish teeth, take X-rays and take impressions/pour models. Have to be able to work in a fast pace environment while multi-tasking and learning quickly

Responsible for assisting the Dentist with all aspects of dental procedures and maintaining dental hygiene.

X-ray license, Polishing Certificate, cpr certificate preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Experience in a dental clinic is preferred but not required, this is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to get their start in the field.

Compensation based on experience (Vacation, Holidays, 401k, and bonuses).
