Constellation Platinum Bartender at Cheltenham Racecourse 11th - 17th March (accommodated)

Constellation Platinum is looking for experienced bartenders to support and grow our exclusive team at Cheltenham Racecourse. We are looking for a knowledgeable, confident candidate who has enthusiasm for bartending and who can join our team at Cheltenham for their renowned Gold Cup Festival.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 11TH-17TH MARCH. You do not need to live locally as transport from London will be provided as well as accommodation for the week!

Constellation Platinum is a brand within the Compass Group that provides a front of house team to selected premium restaurants & suites in flagship London venues. We operate differently from others as you can choose the frequency that you work, meaning you have control over your schedule. We offer VIP roles ranging from 10 to 40+ hours per week, this can be altered at any time making the role perfect for those who are looking for flexibility.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that drinks are prepared correctly & presented immaculately
• Working as a cohesive team
• Upselling premium drink options
• Recommending drinks & pairing with food

Experience:

• 12 months of bar tending experience
• You know the difference between a lager & ale
• You are able to explain basic wines, eg: the difference between a pinot noir & cabernet sauvignon
• You are confident in loading, carrying and unloading a tray of drinks
• You are confident in suggesting wine to pair with a meal
• You are confident in presenting, opening and pouring both wine & champagne

Requirements:

• Over 18’s only
• The ability to remain calm and collected when busy
• Confidence to interact and build relationships with teammates & guests
• Cocktail knowledge
• An understanding of fine dining food terminology & menu descriptions
