Software Test Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced test engineer to assist in building and maintaining automated test suites. You'll work with our development team to implement browser automation and unit tests as new features or updates are rolled out, as well as implementing tests to cover edge cases to prevent regressions on bugs that are discovered.

This is a fully remote and flexible contract role outside of IR35 where you will be expected to manage your own time and largely work independently to pick up and implement tests based on requirements recorded within an issue tracking system.

Requirements:

• Proven experience implementing browser automation tests using tools such as Selenium/Selenide.
• Unit testing experience using frameworks such as JUnit.
• Experience with Java and an understanding of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Good communication skills.
• A creative approach to testing.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £30.00-£50.00 per hour
