Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a experienced Assembly or Semi Skilled Operators for our busy manufacturing client based in Bradford, BD2.

Work is on a temporary to permanent basis working .

Shift/salary:

• 09:00am - 17:30pm
• £10.44 ph (depending on age bracket)
• Overtime paid at a higher rate
• Hours over 39 per week paid at overtime

The role:

Working from written and verbal instruction to prepare, cut and assemble wood and wood products. Some machine operating may be involved with more opportunities arising depending on how receptive you are to training.

• Jointing, glazing, clamping, gluing and routering products
• Quality checking all products
• Sourcing materials for manufacture

The candidate:

• Previous experience operating a hand and/or power tools in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience jointing, clamping, gluing, routering and glazing
• Previous experience spraying wood - would be beneficial
• Good attention to detail
• High level of motivation and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Keep work areas clean and tidy
• Mindful of health and safety
• Takes a careful and considered approach to the role
• Able to work from written instruction
• Can successfully liaise with other departments as required
