Dietitian / Nutritionist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are a new Eating Disorder service looking for a self-employed Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our team!
Responsibilities:
-You will be expected to meet with clients in a 1:1 capacity, be able to assess their nutritional needs and requirements and make nutritional recommendations based on this.
-You will be expected to educate clients on Nutritional requirements, health concerns regarding ED behaviours and the overall importance of nutrition to their physical and mental health.
-You will be able to challenge clients in appropriate manner to support their recovery journey.
-You will be required to work as part of a multi disciplinary team of therapists, nutritionists and psychiatrists. You will be expected to share session notes and work collaboratively to support clients.
-You may be requirement to support a client in a practical setting, i.e. a snack or lunch group.
Requirements:
-You will have a minimum of a BSc in Dietetics / Nutrition and Registered with either the HCPC or the AfN.
-You will have at least 1 years experience in working with Eating Disorders / Disordered Eating
-Knowledge of the HAES approach and Intuitive Eating Principles
-Experience in 1:1 nutritional therapy work and meal planning
-Good attention to detail, well written and spoken english.
-You must own your own laptop and be registered as self employed
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4-8 per week
Salary: Β£50.00 per hour

- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Registered Dietitian: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- HCPC (preferred)
