Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cliffe Kennels is a family owned busy working kennels offering Rescue, Boarding facilities and stray kennels.

We are looking for a hard working, dedicated and committed new members to join our team.

Suitable applicants will have the following.

* A passion and understanding of dogs ideally in a kennel environment.

* Be a committed member of the team with a desire to work long term

* Ability to work as part of a team.

* Physically fit.

* Have the ability to listen and follow instructions.

* NVQ or similar preferred but not essential.

* Training to NVQ standard is available.

* A good understanding of English both written and oral is needed.

* Be friendly & approachable with customers

* Full clean manual driving licence is essential

The successful applicant must be able to work as part of the team with trust built with the other team members and a commitment to their team.

The role is varied and interesting if you have a passion for dogs. It will involve cleaning, feeding, walking & playing with the dogs as well as transport runs to collect dogs and take to vets.

Ideal candidates would be able to ensure our dogs have stimulation and interaction and be able to see changes in the dogs behaviour.

Helping adopters by discussing the dogs with them and ensuring the dogs and adopters are well matched.

Keeping clear records for the dogs & preparing adoption paperwork.

part time position covering 25 hours with alternate weekend working or 1 Full time position.

2 nights a week on call for which a bonus is paid.
