Trainee NDT Technician
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Clarity NDT Limited provides non destructive testing services to a wide variety of sectors across the country. You will be joining a fantastic team of highly skilled and driven individuals at an exciting time as we continue to expand and deliver high quality non-destructive services to our clients.
Our company is seeking a high driven individual who is looking to start a new career in NDT. They will work a morning and afternoon shift pattern as part of a team, assisting in performing radiography on welds and castings at our facility in Rotherham.
Responsibilities:
- Working under the supervision and guidance of level 2 NDT technicians to assist in Radiography of welds and castings
- Use of X-ray and gamma rays
- Working in accordance with our company procedures and customer specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Work in accordance with company procedures and work instructions ensuring routine checks and calibrations are completed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and team player
- Self motivated
- Ability to use own initiative
- Will be trained to use company FLT's and overhead cranes
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm rotating
37.5 hours a week
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From Β£20,500.00 per year
