Role Overview & Responsibilities

CityDays create urban adventures to immerse customers within a city - showcasing its culture, history and great local businesses. Think gamified walking tours crossed with outdoor escape rooms.

We operate remotely and provide games in cities worldwide to a mix of customers - b2c/b2b team building days. Our mission is to expand to all major cities and produce the best visitor guides (great places to see and things to do) without compromise (no need to include paid listings that aren't actually great!)

The Role:

• Create written content for our channels such as: Blogs, Web pages, Landing pages, Socials, Email
• Research topics and create a content schedule. Topics will include city-related points of interest (quirky, historical and interesting locations), hidden gems, top places to visit etc.
• Write engaging content, explain historical information in an enjoyable format
• Analyse content performance, testing different writing styles and optimising for performance.

Who are you:

• A start-up mentality - not afraid to test out innovative ideas and roll up your sleeves to get stuff done
• Strong understanding of content strategy and SEO
• Experience working remote, independently and with a team across time zones
• Min 2 years experience writing SEO optimised content
• Regularly delivering content to fixed deadlines and managing own time
• Ability to analyse, interpret, and apply data to make evidence-based decisions and optimise performance. Experience of using web analytics software including Google Analytics/Ahrefs

Flexible working hours, full time working hours are 35.5 per week (finish early on a Friday).

Holidays: You’ll start on 22 holidays plus bank holidays which will increase each year up to 27 days of annual leave.

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
