SITE NAME: Trenance Academy

LOCATION: Trenance Academy, Trenance Rd, Newquay TR7 2LU

HOURS: 10 Hours per week – Monday to Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Friday 3:30pm to 5:30pm or could be done early mornings Monday to Friday 5:45am to 7:45am

SALARY: NLW - £9.50 per hour (paid four weekly) The site works 42 weeks per annum and pay will be annualised to take this into consideration. Working term time and two weeks deep cleaning in the summer and one week during the Easter break.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Cleaning experience is desirable

DBS REQUIREMENTS: Yes, Checks to be completed by Churchill, you will be asked to provide required documentation to complete these checks.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: A permanent position is available to join the team of four at the site. This role would be suitable for a local person looking for part time work with school holiday times non-working, other than two weeks during the summer period and one week during Easter for deep cleaning. The vacancy is for a position cleaning the washrooms after each day, the reminder of the school being cleaned early mornings by the other team members

Responsibilities:

To undertake general cleaning duties to the prescribed standards as detailed in the site specification including:

· Cleaning interior surfaces, furnishings, fixtures and fittings

· Clean floors and floor coverings

· Maintain the internal environment

· Service toilet areas; clean all toilet appliances i.e. toilets, sinks etc. and replenish customer supplies i.e. toilet rolls, hand towels, etc.

· To clear and remove rubbish and other items from areas as detailed by the site specification and ensure the security of all areas at completion of duties.

· To control the usage of materials, ensuring the cleaning cupboard is kept tidy at all times.

· To report any problems on site to the supervisor so they may be rectified immediately.

· To undertake any other reasonable duties/request commensurate with this position as designated by the account manager / supervisor
