Laboratory Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Laboratory Assistants required : - 33 hours per week

Due to continued expansion within our microbiology section we have a vacancy for a flexible hard working laboratory assistant. No prior experience is necessary as we have an excellent in house training program where the successful candidate will experience full training in a number of our routine core tests.

We are UKAS Accredited specialising in water and Feed analysis, where you will gain a valuable insight into all departments within the Laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a Laboratory career in a fast paced quality Company which is seeing considerable growth in the micro sector.

Hours of work are Tuesday to Friday 1pm and 9pm. And Sunday 8am to 1pm

The candidate must be able to work occasional overtime as samples must be processed on the day of arrival, so a flexible approach to working hours is essential.

Applicants must bear in mind that a laboratory such as this operates 365 days per year with a rota for bank holidays.
