Dog Walker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who has experience working with dogs, understands dog behaviour, has a passion for walking and is extremely dependable. Our ideal candidate will be able to take care of 6-15 dogs in a secured environment and be able to confidently manage the pack. This position requires someone who is able to drive our company van and loves being outdoors, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and drop off multiple dogs using our company van.
• Exercise, manage and entertain a pack of dogs in a secured environment.
• Handle dogs that are aggressive or fearful.
• Socialise dogs with other animals and humans.

We are looking to hire two candidates. Inititally, each candidate will be assigned to clients over 1-2 days per week, with the intention to increase working hours to 5 days per week. Working hours are always between 8am - 3/3:30pm.

Full paid training over 2-4 weeks with owner.

Contracts can be flexible and modified based on candidate.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 6-13 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
