Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cherry Reds is an independent cafe and pub with a community spirit and supportive team. Our fresh, cooked to order, menu caters for all diets, having served vegan and no gluten containing food for over 12 years. We serve the same menu all day, from homemade American style pancakes to hearty salads and burgers. Our rooms upstairs are available to hire and guests often preorder from our popular buffet menus.

We are looking for an experienced kitchen team member who is able to work evenings and weekends. You should be passionate about preparing from fresh ingredients and maintaining a clean and organised workspace in a busy environment. During quieter shifts we work alone with assistance from front of house, so you must be happy to muck in at all levels. During busy shifts you'll be one of four, working quickly and efficiently to maintain our reputation for great value, fresh & tasty dishes. Knowledge of food hygiene, stock rotation, knife skills and allergens is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-36 per week

Salary: Up to £11.40 per hour
