Nursery Nurse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

• To know and understand all Nursery policies.
• To know and understand all welfare requirements
• To be well presented at all times
• To be punctual and reliable
• To work as part of a team
• To liaise closely with the manager in implementing all Nursery Policies
• To understand and implement room timetables
• To keep up to date with Nursery topics and centre activities around this months topics
• To be responsible for key children assigned and ensure that their learning and development follows EYFS Curriculum
• To liaise closely with parents and update them daily on their child’s progress
• To participate in regular updating of daily diaries by all staff members
• To attend monthly staff meetings
• To help the management team prepare the nursery for Open Days
• To participate in routines of nappy changing and diary writing
• To share any information regarding new starters and any allergies etc they may have
• To participate in checking procedures to ensure children receive their own milk etc and methods of identifying unlabelled bottles
• To ensure that ratio’s are adhered to at all times
• To participate in cleaning and ensure the room(s) are clean and tidy at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£24,500.00 per year

Experience:

• Nursery Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 Childcare Certification (preferred)
• Unqualified with Passion to work with Children (required)
