About the Company

Chase Research Cryogenics are world leaders in the design and production of sub-Kelvin cryogenic coolers and heat switches. Our products are used to create ultra-low-temperature environments for a wide range of scientific and engineering fields including astrophysics and quantum computing. Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assembling products.
• Completing production records.
• Following procedure to test and quality check products.
• Soldering & Wiring (Full Training Provided)

Other Tasks & Responsibilities

• Finishing tasks, such as cleaning, polishing.
• Quality checks on products prior to shipping.
• Keeping products database up to date.

Skills & Interests

Essential:

• Strong attention to detail
• Interest In small, intricate work. (E.g., Small craft-based hobbies)
• Good level of numeracy and literacy
• Knowledge of MS Excel

Desirable:

• An interest in science
• The ambition to progress within a small, but growing business
• As we will provide full, in-house training, a willingness to learn would be advantageous.

Additional Information

• Full time (37 Hours), permanent position.
• In house training will be provided
• Salary: £20,500 to £22,000 (DOE) with scope to progress and upskill.
