Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have a fantastic NEW opportunity for you to join our client as a full time Warehouse Operative at their Newly opened and launched site based in Blyth, Worksop, S81 8FH!

**Due to the location of the site in a newly build industrial estate there are no public transport links to the location, Candidates would require their own transport or make their own arrangements for these roles**

Shifts as a Warehouse operative:

• Rotating shifts | 06:00 am - 14:00 pm and 14:00 pm - 22:00 pm Monday - Friday
• Basic Rate: £10.92
• Additional Night shift Premium of £2.18 applies from 20:00pm - 22:00pm
• Night Shifts | 22:00 - 0600 | Sunday Night to Thursday Night
• Rate £13.10 ( Basic £10.92 + £2.18 Night shift Premium)

**Drug and Alcohol testing will be conducted on Day 1 and then on a regular basis to ensure Health and safety is adhered to at all times**

Duties as a Warehouse Operative:

• Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis
• Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as inbound, outbound, and stock control
• Lifting stock, wrapping pallets, tipping containers and hygiene duties.
• Adhere to all safe systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures
• Picking and packing of leisure and garden goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers’ homes
• These roles also have opportunity for temp to perm with the client after 12 week due to it being a new site and the client looking to build their core teams

Experience required as a Warehouse Operative:

• The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Any FLT licences are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided
• Be flexible and capable to work efficiently to meet the demands of the operation
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
