Engineering Team Leader

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Founded in 1999, Cepac is the UK’s leading independent corrugated packaging producer. We provide the state-of-the-art alternative to conventional corrugated packaging, pioneering innovative, performance packaging and print solutions across our four UK plants, working in close partnership with our customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

Working hours are 40 hours per week on a rotating 2 shift operation (Monday – Friday 06.00 - 14.00 / Monday – Thursday 14.00 - 23.00 & Friday 14.00 - 18.00)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To lead a small team of engineers to ensure the smooth running of the site. To ensure adequate resource is correctly managed so that all planned & unplanned tasks are completed safely and in full.

To assist and implement continuous improvements & capital installations, linking up effectively with operational shift management to ensure all engineering issues are fully reported and actioned.

Salary: £51,189.00 per year

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• working in a maintenance role in an FMCG plant: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• BTEC level 3 (ONC) minimum (or equivalent) (required)
