Machine Operator - Continental Shifts

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Central Recruitment Solutions are currently looking for experienced Machine Operators to work at one of our well-established clients in the Blackwood area.

Hours and pay rates

Continental shift pattern - 4 on 4 off (2 days 6am-6pm, 2 nights 6pm - 6am)

£10.00p/h + £45 Attendance Allowance (if all hours worked)

This equates to £11.25 p/h if all hours are attended.

This position is temporary with the potential to turn permanent after 13 weeks.

The role will involve/ require:

• Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
• A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.
• If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis
• Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
• General Cleaning around workstation.
• Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
• Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
• Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)

Essential:

• Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role
• Own transport due to location
• To provide own safety boots (hi vis will be provided)
