Retail Shop Assistants

Role Overview & Responsibilities

At Cathcart’s Centra Kilrea we are looking for friendly, outgoing and helpful people to join our team. We would like to recruit a number of Shop Assistants, to work full time / part time. A degree of flexibility across our trading hours will be required; shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours and shift patterns in further detail.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Store opening / closing procedures
• Implement and maintain a high level of customer service. Provide a friendly customer service to all customers at all times
• Complete customer sales, replenishment, stock handling and merchandising floor sections
• Ensure your department is presented to the highest standard
• Ensure HACCP requirements are followed and all other duties required by management.

Essential

• Be reliable, trustworthy and a good timekeeper
• Be available to work early morning to open the store and /or evenings to close the store
• Have a passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and enjoy serving people
• Have at least 6 months retail experience working within a customer focused environment

Desirable

• Computer/Microsoft Office applications experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour
