Role Overview & Responsibilities

Head of Change Communications, Internal Communications, Senior Communications Specialist, Part London, Part Remote, Urgent

Head of Communications required to work for a large, global organisation based in Central London. However, there will be the opportunity to work from home for circa 2 days per week.

This is an interim ‘quick-fix’ role whilst they look to hire a permanent member of the team. We want someone who has walked into this kind of role previously as a contractor and made a real success of it. You must be proven.

Top 5 skills required:

• Extensive experience of working as a contractor in similar roles
• Quick at getting up to speed and being able to ask the right questions in order to hit the ground running (ability to hit the ground running is a must)
• Change communications experience
• Strategic and advisory level experience
• Managing a team (this role has 4 direct reports)

Must have skills/experience:

• Significant experience in leading internal communications in a highly complex and fast-paced organisation
• Brilliant people leadership: leading, coaching, inspiring teams
• Working in an organisation that’s often in the media spotlight
• Working under pressure and the ability to manage multiple high profile projects at any one time
• Executive board level stakeholder management
• Crisis comms and reputation management
• Leading on major change programmes
• Development and delivery of engagement campaigns
• Organising and curating engaging events / away-days for creative team
• Manage budgets as required

This is a great opportunity and rate is dependent upon experience. The rate range is £500-650 (NO MORE THAN £650 - inside of IR35). It is for 3 months initially but could extend. Apply now for more details.
