Role Overview & Responsibilities

Carbon60 are excited to be representing a leading Renewable Energy Developer and support the hiring of an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract basis which is very likely to extend. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Project Manager, please see further details below.Electrical Engineer - Offshore WindRole - Project Manager Location - Berkshire Start Date - ASAP Duration - 6 Months + possible extension Rates - Β£500 Daily Rate via Umbrella (Inside IR35)The successful candidate will ideally be a Project Manager with a background in onshore wind farm connections.Requirements:

  • BSc or similar in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of Electrical & Site Safety
  • Experience with Onshore Wind Projects
  • Full UK Right to Work
  • Must be prepared to go through standard background checks.
  • Ideally based in Berkshire
  • IT skills, PROMIS, Microsoft office packages, Excel, GIS.
  • Understanding of street works/ permits, local authorities.
  • Operated within a customer driven environment, possessing excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic distribution knowledge of the LV network including associated excavation work.
  • Sound business and technical knowledge of electricity distribution or similar market sector
  • Awareness of key stakeholders and customers for electricity distribution
  • Experience of managing the development of an infrastructure project through the optioneering / routing stages of project development
  • Experience of a regulatory environment would be an advantage.

Other key attributes are:

  • Technical knowledge / experience of the UK HV Distribution and/or Transmission Network
  • Experience developing and managing integrated project programmes.

(Primavera P6 preferred but not essential)

  • Experience with ECC contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)

(NEC3/4 accredited preferred but not essential)

  • Knowledge of CDM2015 - NEBOSH/IOSH
