Cake baker and decorator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced, face-paced and confident cake decorator/baker to join our growing, energetic team. The job role entails decorating cakes, making frosting, creating cake fillings, sauce and garnishes, baking and decorating cookies, cakes, cupcakes and brownies and ensuring every product looks top-notch. We are looking for staff members who are looking for a role within a growing, independent business.

To be considered for this role you must

• Have at least three years experience of baking in shops, factories or restaurants (not including school or educational training)
• Be confident in icing cakes at a fast pace
• Have experience of making sauces, toppings, garnishes etc.
• Be creative and forward-thinking
• Be an organised, tidy worker
• Be able to adapt and cope with last minute change
• Enjoy creating new, seasonal products
• Be looking for a long-term role

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per year hour
