Role Overview & Responsibilities

Working as part of our customer-facing team you will ensure that high quality and great value food and drink are prepared and served to our valued customers from a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Preparing and serving food.

· Preparing and serving coffee and tea.

· Handling cash and card payments safely and securely.

· Preparation of cutlery ready for use.

· Ensuring the café is fully stocked and can always meet the menu, notifying the manager of any shortages.

· Clean the café areas and ensure they are always safe and hygienic (including customer toilets).

· Check that all café facilities, equipment and furnishings are in good order and report any damages immediately to the manager.

· Always maintain the cleanliness of all equipment and machinery.

· Follow the normal operating plan, ensuring correct opening and closing times and setting up and clearing down as required.

· Assist with preparing food for bookings, ensuring these are ready on time.

· Monitor stock, wastage and use-by dates.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pinner, HA5 3HR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
