This lovely family is seeking a kind, caring and organised Spanish speaking nanny to care for their three children aged 10, 8 and 3. It is essential that the candidate is fluent in Spanish or any of the other languages listed as the family loves to embrace the culture and get the children involved with learning the language. During the term time the nanny will be expected to work around 30 hours per week (finishing around 7:30-8:00pm). Longer hours may be required if there are strikes/children are ill and need to stay home from school etc. In the school holidays, around 55 hours per week would be required. The family travels often so the nanny is able to take time off when they are away. Duties include; cooking and preparing healthy meals for the children, running errands including occasional food and clothes shopping when needed, children’s laundry, keeping areas tidy, supervising homework, after school pick up and taking them to activities when required, and most importantly keeping constantly engaged with them and their needs. The family is quite laid back so the nanny would also need to have the same approach and flexibility. The ideal candidate is an energetic and active person who gets the children outdoors wherever possible and embraces every day! It is essential that the nanny is proactive with scheduling and meal planning and has a “crack in” attitude. This is a lovely role to join a friendly family in Oxford.
