Kitchen Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning dishes and kitchen surfaces, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in a professional kitchen environment, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas.
• Assist in the preparation of meals.
• Ensure that all food items are stored correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the ordering of food supplies.
• Assist in the cooking of meals.

Job Type: Part-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bridlington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Chef: 1 year (preferred)
• Catering: 1 year (preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
• Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
