English Tutor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Seeking a highly qualified and experienced English tutor for KS3 / KS4 pupils and GCSE Level - preference for Oxford or Cambridge University Graduates and / or experience teaching at an Independent school.

The Pupils will be aiming to take GCSE English; classes will be grammar based, including comprehension, creative writing and vocabulary. Boarding school experience and familiarity with the 13+ entrance exam is an advantage. Tutor must be highly motivated and able to create their own materials with scope to offer challenging classes with professionalism and humour; making it interactive for the students. Classes are delivered on Zoom and homework is delivered and collected through dropbox. Access will be provided by the school.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

Salary: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
