Role Overview & Responsibilities

Bread Source is an independent, contemporary bakery specialising in additive free, artisan bread and pastries. We have 7 outlets based in Norfolk with exciting growth plans for the future.

All our products are made from scratch using real/ good ingredients and are crafted through traditional methods.

We're looking to hire a pastry cook to join our growing team at our main bakery unit in Norwich working a variety of shift patterns. Previous bakery experience is ideal but we're also willing to train if the right candidate comes along.

You must :

• Create and develop recipes for a variety of baked goods - Cakes, Donuts, cookies, Danish, Tray bakes.
• Ensure to adhere to health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including all equipment and utensils.
• Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure that orders are completed on time.
• Prepare and produce baked goods. Cakes, Donuts, cookies, Danish, Tray bakes.
• Keep up-to-date with new pastry trends and techniques.

All bakers are expected to:

• Work in an efficient manner within a commercial environment
• Follow our health and safety procedures
• Be aware of personal safety and the safety of others
• Be reliable and punctual
• Ability to work as a team.

Full time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £23,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 5 days a week on a rota basis.
• Must be available to work weekends.
