Role Overview & Responsibilities

Bread Source is an independent, contemporary bakery specialising in additive free, artisan bread and pastries. We have 7 outlets based in Norfolk with exciting growth plans for the future.

All our products are made from scratch using real/ good ingredients and are crafted through traditional methods.

We looking for Tuesday to Saturday worker 6am to around 10am/11am depending on quantity of orders. The job consists in packing and delivering our baked goods to our costumers home.

Packing:

• Collecting and organizing items that need to be packed for transport
• Ensuring that items are packaged securely and appropriately for their intended destination
• Loading packages onto the vehicle in a way that maximizes space and ensures their safety during transport

Driving:

• Checking the vehicle's engine, brakes, and other systems before driving
• Planning the most efficient route for delivering packages based on traffic and road conditions
• Following all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Delivering packages to their intended destination in a timely and professional manner
• Obtaining signatures or other proof of delivery when required
• Unloading packages and ensuring that they are delivered to the correct recipient
• Communicating with customers and supervisors about delivery schedules and any issues that arise, and performing other duties as assigned.

Need to have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are also important qualities for a successful packer and driver.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: £10.90 per hour
