Transport and Operations Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced self motivated Manager to oversee our drivers and day to day operations. You will be required to work 5 days per week with 1 hour for break. The occasional night shift to over see the running of the night contracts.

Our business has gone from strength to strength with exciting plans for further growth and we would love for you to join us on this journey!

We are looking for someone to:

• Manage our team of drivers, ensuring they are provided with constant support and following all company policies.
• Deliver training to ensure the team have the capability and confidence to deliver their role successfully.
• Ensure resource is planned thoroughly to meet company KPIs.
• Recruit and attract new drivers.
• Continuously develop our strategy to improve operations.

About you:

• Previous management experience
• Full driving licence
• Experience of recruiting new staff (preferred but not essential)
• A self starter
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
