Location: Cirencester
Hours: Full-time, in office, Monday to Friday
Our Client:
Our client is an award winning web development agency based in Cirencester. They provide marketing, design and digital services to a wide range of excellent clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly talented, creative and friendly team working in Cirencester on a varied range of exciting websites and digital projects. You will have a passion for coding and new technologies with a portfolio of sites / projects that clearly demonstrate your skills and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing WordPress Divi websites which are optimised across multiple browsers and device platforms
- Collaborate with designers, developers and project team on new product developments
- Working with external customers
- Provide technical support if needed
- Manage our servers with our server company
- Fix bugs in existing projects
- Gather and document product requirements from internal/external customers
- Helping to recommend, plan and develop dynamic web and digital projects
- Being actively involved at all stages of the design and development process
- Working closely with the UX, design, SEO and project management teams
- Testing and supporting new and existing solutions
- Staying up to date with current web trends and new technologies and have a desire to push the boundaries
- Working in a variety of development processes, including Agile
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience of Word Press and Divi builder
- Excellent experience in building responsive themes and plugins for WordPress
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript experience.
- Basic knowledge of SEO Google Analytics and Tag Manager experience
- Good experience in PHP and MySQL
- Standards compliant HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript (jQuery) and JSON
- Experience in converting Adobe XD/Photoshop designs into WordPress themes
- Understanding of Accessibility best practices
