Freelance Accountancy and Tax Marker

We are eager to strengthen our current pool of freelance markers for our Accountancy and Tax qualifications (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, ATT, CTA). We are seeking to recruit markers from the UK who are willing to mark throughout the year with competitive marking rates on offer. Due to recent changes within the qualifications, exams are Computer Based Assessments and therefore marking will be in electronic format.

The papers that require marking generally fit into one of these streams:

• AUDIT & FINANCIAL REPORTING
• BUSINESS WORDS & NUMBERS
• TAX

Please indicate your preference, based on your previous experience, as to which of these areas you would like to be considered for and refer to the examining body websites for syllabus information on each paper. You can also indicate if there are any specific qualifications that you would prefer to mark, again, based on your own education and experience.

• Ideally a professionally qualified accountant although applicants with significant practical experience may also be considered
• Previous marking experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided
• Outstanding written communication skills – to provide clear, constructive feedback to our students
• Planning and organisation - to achieve quality output in a timely fashion, meeting/exceeding deadlines
• Digitally literate
• A flexible and adaptable approach according to business needs
