Production Planner (Lead)

Chippenham, Wiltshire

£35,000 to £45,000 DOE + Pension + Life Cover + Dental + Optical + 27+8 days holiday

Production Planner sought for a Chippenham based manufacturer in the semiconductor industry offering huge development and progression. Part of a Global manufacturing brand employing over 17,000 people this role offers vast opportunities to move and grow through the wider brand.

This role will suit candidates that have previous experience of production planning within a manufacturing or production environment. Those that come from an Electronics manufacturing background are desirable, but all manufacturing backgrounds will be considered.

This is an exciting new role within the business as they look to strengthen their planning function. You will be responsible for managing and further developing the site capacity planning model as well as producing the sites rolling forecast to contribute towards and help drive development of sales and operations. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining master data within the ERP system on site and driving improvements in the businesses on-time delivery performance.

The successful candidate will benefit from continued ongoing personal development and progression opportunities, as part of a global brand there will be opportunities to travel to locations across the globe on secondment as well as upward moves through the brand if desired.

The role:
*Manage and develop the site capacity
*Produce site volume rolling forecast
*Contribute towards development of the sales and operations planning function
*To drive improvements in the on-time delivery performance
*Manage and maintain master data on ERP systems

The Person:
*Degree Level education preferred but not essential
*Proven experience working in a manufacturing planning environment ideally the electronics industry.
*Experience in capacity planning/sales and operations planning
*Experience with ERP systems
*Strong analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
