Role Overview & Responsibilities

Blair Castle Caravan Park in Blair Atholl is at the entrance to the Cairngorms National Park making it a convenient and beautiful base for exploring Highland Perthshire. Situated within the grounds of the magnificent Blair Castle & Gardens, it’s a truly unique location steeped in history and charm. Offering a host of options, from cosy pods, touring, camping, holiday homes and beautiful woodland lodges, there’s something for everyone.

Start Date - With immediate start -31/10/2023

Free accommodation is offered with this position.

MAIN PURPOSE: Carrying out general building and caravan maintenance, grounds work, housekeeping, security and health & safety issues on the park. Provide excellent customer service at all times.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. To be hands on and carry out maintenance duties across the park.

2. Assist with the Park’s internal maintenance reporting system, to ensure we act quickly to resolve customer complaints / concerns and log recurring problems, which may need long term attention.

3. To assist with regular checks on the Park’s caravan hire fleet, Woodland Lodges and Camping Pods, logging maintenance issues.

4. To assist with general estate maintenance issues when required.

5. To assist with maintaining the grounds to a standard commensurate with our 5 Star rating.

• Assist with maintaining the security and safety procedures for visitors and staff.
• Provide assistance to and support to all teams within the Caravan Park enterprise as required.
• Comply with health & safety directives and organisational policy, including regular fire drills.
• Comply with organisational policy for green tourism and recycling policies.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required including after hours sessions – reasonable notice is given and staff are paid for their time.
• Any other duties as required.
• Applicants must have a full clean driving licence.

Salary: From £11.00 per hour
