Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Environment:

Blackmore commercials Ltd was established in 1985 and is a small family run business based at Colwick Nottingham. Offering services, maintenance, and repairs to DVLA standards for all types of vehicles in the commercial industry.

To Join us:

· A technical qualification relating to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent)

· A valid full car driving license required -essential

· An HGV license required – preferred but not essential

· Own Tools Required,

· A good knowledge of vehicles makes and an understanding of electronics and diagnostics

· To be efficient, methodical, organised and disciplined.

· Flexibility – able to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting the team

· To be responsive and willing to learn, receive training, developing both yourself and those around you

· The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative.

· A broad understanding of commercial vehicles ideally having at least 3 years’ experience

· Experience in using R2C – preferred but not essential

· Experience at preparing job cards and service sheets accurately.

Work Schedule:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working 40 hours per week during the hours of 7.00 am – 6.00 pm Monday – Friday at standard rate. Above 40 hrs paid at overtime rate.

Expected to work at least every other Saturday 7.00 am – 1.00 pm at overtime rate

Benefits:

Competitive rate of pay with overtime rate.

Salary range with overtime would be £45,000- £50,000 depending on experience
