Role Overview & Responsibilities
The purpose of this post is to promote the participation and experience of service users, families and carers, through the coordination of participation and experience activities.
- To promote individual and strategic models of participation and co-ordinate the Experts by Experience (EBE) Programme in a nominated division.
- Oversee and coordinate opportunities for service users, families and carers to give feedback regarding their experience, through a number of tailored channels and to actively shape services so they engage service users, carers and families well, through co-production of services, redesign, and developments.
- To line manage participation and experience workers within a specific division.
- To lead on a specific workstream to be agreed within the team (Recovery College, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Families and Carers, or Quality Improvement).
The post works in conjunction with operational services and other partner agencies
